Immortal Onion - Poland
The Band was founded in the spring of 2016.
Artists such as Esbjörn Svensson, Hiromi Uehara and Tigran Hamasyan are where the band gets its inspiration from. The classification of Immortal Onion's music is rather challenging, as the musicians are not afraid to refer to many music genres. Their songs are influenced, among others by jazz, film music, minimalism, fusion, electronic music, and even progressive metal. In spite of this divergence in the styles they rotate in, they have succeeded in creating their own recognizable language.

Immortal Onion have already built a strong position as one of the most interesting, new jazz projects from Poland. After two well received albums (“Ocelot of Salvation” in 2017 and “XD [Experience Design]” in 2020, U Know Me Records) they had the pleasure of presenting the new release called “Screens” recorded at the initiative of the saxophonist Michał Jan Ciesielski.
The trio performed its original material at many venues and festivals in 16 countries around Europe.
The inspiration for the band formation were, to name just a few, Esbjörn Svensson, Hiromi Uehara and Tigran Hamasyan, In terms of genre, Immortal Onion offers a bold combination of many seemingly remote styles – jazz, film music, minimalism as well as fusion, electronic music and even progressive metal.
The unique sound of the group originates from the stylistic variety, and skilful combination of rhythmically complex, energetic riffs with minimalistic, trans beats and lyrical themes.
